JouleTherm Carbon Electric Paint CeP
The Carbon Electric Paint CeP range allows the custom building of SELV electric radiant heaters onto existing drywall / plasterboard walls using specially designed components and techniques. The CeP range allows the possibility of building radiant heaters with various outputs. It’s components and installation techniques have been designed for use by qualified and trained personnel.
Turn any plastered / plasterboard wall or ceiling into a radiant heater
By using our special techniques the JouleTherm CeP can turn any wall or ceiling into a very energy efficient radiant heater. Using low energy consumption the CeP is the world’s first ever electric paint on system. Using safe extra low voltages (24V) the CeP is suitable for every type of room.
Spraying or paint roller application
The JouleTherm CeP can be applied by use of a spray gun or by a paint roller. The spray gun is one of the most effective methods and increases production application time as only one coat is required. The paint roller method is ideal for retrofit projects where a spray gun may cause splashing damage to existing structures. When completed, both methods are equally effective with the end results providing a very efficient heating system.
Paint over with your favourite colour
The JouleTherm CeP system when installed can be completely painted over using any water based decorative paint making it invisible to the naked eye. No requirement for any boilers, radiators, pipes, water, tanks, gas or oil. The wall or ceiling becomes the radiator which will free up valuable space in your property.
Energy savings of up to 60%
Up to 60% energy savings compared to traditional heating systems. Only 300 watts/m2 consumed per heating zone. Powered by 24V toroidal transformers each JouleTherm CeP transformer is specially optimised and wound to reduce heat losses in the windings. Additional safety features are added to the transformer ensuring complete peace of mind for the end user.
Super quick heat up times
Once the thermostat calls for heat, the JouleTherm CeP instantly reacts and reaches surface temperature within minutes. This feature reduces losses, increases efficiency and results in low running costs while maintaining the room to its desired temperature.
Single or multiple heating zones
The JouleTherm CeP can be installed as a single heating zone for one off installations or can be designed and specified for large multiple heating zones. The applications are endless and can cover a vast number of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, education, retail, industrial, commercial and residential.
