What are plug-in solar panels?

Plug-in solar is a small solar generation system using solar panels typically between 450W and 490W each and a microinverter to provide electricity that can be used within your home.

Do I have to install it myself?

No. That’s the whole idea behind our service. The Solar People can supply and professionally install the system for you.

How powerful is the system?

Our advertised two-panel package provides up to 800W output, depending on the system specification and operating conditions.

Can the panels go on a wall?

Yes, subject to the property and suitability of the wall. Other possible locations include gardens, garages, outbuildings and shed roofs. If any roof is of wood construction then additional fire board may be required to stay compliant with building regilations.

Does plug-in solar work during a power cut?

Standard grid-connected plug-in solar does not normally provide power-cut backup.If power cut protection is important to you then please contact us and we will run through the options.

What if I want a bigger solar system?
