EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Hybrid Inverter and Battery Storage

EcoFlow is a global clean energy brand focused on making home energy simple, safe and sustainable. As an EcoFlow partner, we recommend its systems for their intelligent design, dependable performance, advanced safety features and class-leading 15-year warranty.

The EcoFlow OCEAN 2 is a next-generation hybrid inverter and modular battery system that works alongside your solar panels. It stores surplus solar energy generated during the day for use in the evening and overnight. It can also charge using cheaper off-peak electricity from the grid.

Each OCEAN 2 battery provides 5.02kWh of storage, with up to six batteries supported by one inverter. This allows the system to grow from approximately 5kWh to 30kWh as your household’s energy requirements change. Its long-life LFP battery cells are designed for more than 10,000 cycles, while the IP66-rated enclosure is suitable for approved indoor or outdoor locations.

OCEAN 2 also includes integrated backup functionality, with a seamless 0ms switchover under supported grid conditions. This can keep selected circuits and essential appliances running during a power cut, with the final backup arrangement confirmed during your survey.

The Solar People supply, install and support EcoFlow OCEAN 2 systems across the UK. We handle the survey, system design, installation and certification in-house, helping you choose the right inverter and battery capacity for your home. If you want to use more of your own solar energy, reduce your reliance on the grid and add reliable backup protection, EcoFlow OCEAN 2 is an excellent choice.
