New solar and battery installation completed in Harbury!
This customer is now benefiting from a complete Sigenergy solar and battery system, designed to help reduce electricity bills, increase energy independence and provide added protection during a power cut.
The system includes:
✅ 10 x Aiko Gen 3 485W all-black solar panels
✅ Sigenergy 8kW inverter
✅ 20kWh battery storage, made up of 2 x 10kWh battery modules
✅ Sigenergy Gateway
✅ Bird protection fitted around the solar array
The 10 Aiko solar panels will generate renewable electricity from the roof, while the 20kWh Sigenergy battery storage allows the customer to store excess energy and use it later, rather than drawing as much electricity from the grid.
The Sigenergy Gateway adds an important extra benefit. In the event of a power cut, the Gateway can automatically switch the home over to battery backup, allowing essential household circuits to remain powered while the grid is down.
This means the customer can continue using stored energy during an outage, while also making better use of cheaper, self-generated solar power day to day.
By generating their own electricity, storing excess energy and using less power from the grid, this system is designed to help the customer save money on their electricity bills for years to come.
